Kathleen when you get here to Texas please e-mail me putterp@excite.com and maybe we can get together and I can show you and your hubby around. Plano is a nice area but right now I would look into Frisco or even Mckinney. Comming from California you should be able to get a mansion for what your home was worth back there. I have no idea how big a home you would want you can buy homes for $200-a million....When it comes to heat make no bones it hot but nothing like the ast or even California the humidity is very low. Winter is 6 weeks from January to the middle of February...When it gets below 32 degrees it is measured in hours...The one thing you will like is the convienence or shopping any type mall you might imagine from Tiffanys to any type of outlet you might imagine. When we first got down here my daughters said this place stink and blah blah but now talk to them and ask them what they think. Two of my daughter will deffinately stay here but my baby Deidre wants NYC. That becuase she doesn't drive doesn't want to drive and wouldn't mind taking th subway or a bus...like I said let me know would love to meet you and your family and wouldn't mind showing you around.
