large stag concentrates on irritating burden hanging from his back, adult wolf had missed his mark, the important spine, and instead had sunk his teeth deep into flesh, he kicks out, hoping to dislodge the annoyance,

Suddenly, another wolf flies out, biting for his front hooves, caught unaware, the female hits her mark, cimson blood stains the snow as he topples, his legs wounded in so many places unable to hold the strain...
