Subject: A soothing breeze

Kalia closed her eyes briefly, imparting to the world her bliss with a shrill, euphonic cry that penetrated the silent meadows. Every breath was an exhalation of ecstasy when she took flight. Nothing else lit her heart with such passion, and she doubted anything else could. Her golden wings danced with the flames that clothed her looming form as she lifted her crested head to peer at the vast grounds that spanned before her. The phoenix's expressive, tawny eyes raked her surroundings and abruptly, she folded her wings and adjusted her long, silken tail to dive in a cloud of beauty and splendor. Opening her wings, she let them fill with the updraft, and brought forth her sleek, deadly talons forward, slowing her intense speed to land in the emerald fields. This must be it, she thought joyfully. Where I am to train.
