With all this autism talk, it seems that its not what a child IS doing but more like what a child is NOT doing that makes them autistic. Such as NOT making eye contact, NOT being social, etc. My son did the hand and foot twisting thing. My daughter liked to line things up and make a "train" out of things. And thats supposed to be a symptom too right? Well guess what, they are not autistic. I think people are paranoid and jump to conclusion because there is a lot of unknown about it. Emma sounds fine. She laughs, smiles and she is still in that window of learning to walk. Try not to worry. I know its hard...
