When I first got my puppy I had to do that with her because she hated being left alone. If you do decide to do this, what anastassia said could help if she starts to cry. Or I just told mine that it was okay in a soothing voice and she would eventually get that she wasn't alone.

Also placing a blanket or something with your smell in the crate could help. Along with feeding her some treats while she's in there or start giving her meals in there (with the door open) for a while so she knows that's "her space". Hope this helps. She's a very beautiful baby and I know you're only gonna grow to love her more
