Subject: When my DD's comps were over at Indy...
In reply to: mmc 's message, "Here is one "modest dress"...what is it exactly and how important is it?" on Monday, July 11, 11:38:11am

I had gone off to see something. When I came back, her dress was where we were camping and so was her pj pants and jacket. I immediately went to hunt her down with pj pants and jacket in hand. Found her in her bloomers and short sleeved top and got her covered up. She's 9 and was more interested in running around with friends than aware of how she was dressed. I explained to her that it wasn't appropriate to wear only that when not in her dress. Thinking back, I don't recall noticing dancers in only their bloomers, except for mine!
