While I appreciate the 'feel good' nature of rules about keeping our little ones innocent, I feel that the no makeup/tanner rule has no teeth. ADs have admitted that they don't want to enforce it for fear of making the wrong call. Stage volunteers don't have the time or the training to deal with deciding if a little one has been eating a sucker or put on lip stick.

Much more important to me would be seeing a standard set for the flooring on which dancers compete, perhaps training for TCs in how to keep dancers more healthy with stretching and cross training. Maybe even a look into ghillies moving to a more supportive shoe to meet the moves that dancers are now performing in them.

And thanks for opening up the board. I have missed 'nice' debate.
