Subject: School systems irritate me....

My 8 year old, got called on something he said at school. He said during library, that he was a pimp. He didnt mean a pimp as we know it...but he thought it meant "cool". I mean...look at the programs on.."pimp my ride", for example. He hears about that at school, other kids say it. The teacher said when she told him to never say that, she then took him out in the hall and asked him if he knew that was a bad thing to say, and of course he said yes! I mean, she just told him to never say it, I mean duh, he's gonna say then that it's bad! He told me he thought it meant cool, and he hears everyone else saying it. I told him it was a bad thing to say, without going in to too much detail of why. Schools are idiots some times.
