nowadays, students have an 'account' they draw from to buy a meal. (that way they don't have to handle cash, safe right) for some reason everytime I send a check for deposit somehow only 1 of my 2 children attending there gets all the money and I get a notice about one of them being 'overdrawn'. The check clearly indicates which student account it belongs in. Just because they have the same last name doesn't mean they are one in the same person, duh!

I've got to do their accounting records too?! And the admin does ... ??? Apparently I have to correct the homework too. I do look over my kids work and most of the time I have them correct their work before turning it in.
Another thing is the 'techniques' they are teaching in math and writing are nearly the polar opposite of what I was taught. It would be nice if the teachers would help to bring the parents 'on-board' with these new techniques so I don't argue with my child about the 'right way' to do it.
I'm not opposed to it I just want to know why the hell my kids are doing math and writing upside-down and backwards to what I was taught.

Actually I was a bored student so I often would 'invent' new methods to do the same thing but different. Especially math 'tricks', so that's why I can 'learn' new techniques if I know about them. But I think nowadays spelling is anything goes because we can't have any 'bad' spellers it hurts their self-esteem.

I'll shut-up before I get worked up.

C-ya sporeteeangle.
B-)
