How large would the entire lot be if you zipped them up? (In case you aren't aware of it, when you zip files, the zip file ends up larger than the total size of the files, sometimes significantly so. To get a clear idea, you need to zip them to find out for sure.)

Do you know the difference between relative and absolute links? Relative is best if you're going to move to another server. Unless I have a good reason to do otherwise, I almost always use relative links. I'm happy to look over a couple of the files and see if I can work out a quicker way to change link references, if that's necessary. I own Microsoft Word and it has some interesting features when it comes to "find and replace" that not all word processors do. It's actually quite powerful, if you know your way around, and can sometimes make editing files a lot easier.

I'm not always quick to respond - I have health issues that sometimes have me out of communication for up to a week. (More, if I forgot I started a conversation or action before my health took another dive.) However, I'll keep an eye on this for the next week or two (memory permitting!) and maybe I can offer some help.

I actually have no idea about relative links etc. but when I have a minute,I'll look into it or I'll ask judi, (the original board mom.) Right now, I'm working on boring spread sheets for my accountant, and I've got the pressure on. I hate summer because it's always the same with me being behind with my work. But the stories aren't going anywhere. As soon as i can, I will work with you, or others who have offered to help. I do appreciate it. Again, I'm so sorry to make everyone wait like this.

The information at Brinkster conflicts with the information on the name hbxarchives.com that I got by looking up the name at Domaintools - I assume you do know that paying for the name 'hbxarchives.com' is different to paying for somewhere to put the files for hbxarchives.com.

The reason I comment is because Brinkster is saying the domain name (i.e. hbxarchives.com) expired on 08/06/2015 (which I assume means the 6th August, 2015) and yet Domaintools says it's paid up till some time in 2016.

Unless you're absolutely certain that the name hbxarchives.com is still registered to you until next year, give Wild West(?) a ring and ask them directly or get someone else who'd know (Judy?) to double check for you.

I'm inclined to think Brinkster is displaying some kind of generic page with misleading information and Domaintools is correct.

[> [> That's ok Cece. I only brought it up to be sure that this was server related. No pressure at all! I wish I could help but I know little aout servers and work is nuts. We will wait. Thanks to you too, Liz, the Harm community is great! -- Dani R, 19:22:59 07/21/15 Tue [1]
