Date Posted: 01:16:04 07/30/05 Sat First up, a clarification: As noted in the guestbook, there is a Lesley Goldie listed as a lecturer at Bournemouth Media School in England, but by all accounts it is doubtful that it is THE Lesley Goldie of TBHS fame. But the main question has to do with this: I noticed that the only times Mr. Hill had Ms. Goldie on his show was when John Robins was the producer and director - but not when others held the positions (David Bell, Keith Beckett, Peter Frazer-Jones and Mark Stuart, all of whom helmed the show at one time or another in the timespan of Lesley's run). I've oft wondered why this was the case - and if there was no ulterior motive behind this circumstance, it certainly was one of the wildest coincidences around. I agree, though, Ms. Goldie was one of the most unforgettable supporting players on the program, it's a shame she didn't do more editions.
