WV Autumn Festival Announces Changes

Saturday October 20, 2007 at the Flatwoods Days Inn in WV

Exit 67 off Interstate 79 in Flatwoods, WV

We will implement and use the circle system as used at the WVAFF pageants each year in the future including this one.

NOBODY will be permitted to sit directly behind the judges as we will block a space of at least five feet and therefore until judging is complete NOBODY but the STAFF photographer can stand in that space even for photos. You will have to take them from an angle or position that places you a minimum of five feet from the judges in any direction. We hope these changes will help improve some things.

CATEGORIES will be Personal Interview, Puttin' On The Ritz (semi formal or dressy casual black attire) and Evening Gown. If we have enough contestants we will have semi finalists that answer on stage questions, if not everyone will answer an onstage question.

DIVISIONS are Teen, Queen, Ms and Mrs

Entry fees are $100.00 except for Teen which is $75.00 if your entry is postmarked on or before September 5th

IF YOU WIN ANOTHER WVAFF TITLE (THIS IS FOR QUEENS ONLY)BEFORE OUR EVENT WE WILL REFUND ANY ENTRY MONIES PAID OR IF YOU WIN MISS WV USA OR MISS WV TEEN USA

There will be a twenty dollar late fee if postmarked after September 5th, there will be NO EXCEPTIONS as deposits must be made to the Days Inn and awards must be ordered in a timely fashion.

We reserve the right to stop taking entries at any time should the response be well either before the early bird deadline or after as we want to make sure we have enough awards for everyone. After September 25th, we cannot guarantee your photo in the program book. We do not plan to take more than 16 entries per division. Call us for an update, we'd love to have you.

CASH AWARDS (amounts to be determined, our staff is still working on the event), Gorgeous Crowns, Beautiful Sashes including a Jessie Marsh for the Queen, Great Keepsakes (either a Glass Slipper, a trophy or plaque) and more!!!!
