Elijah (Elias) was fleeing Ahab and Jezebel after he had the priests/prophets of Baal killed after they failed to have their sacrifice set afire by praying to Baal. He went to a cave on Mt Horeb.

Then the god asks Elijah (1 Kings 19:9): "What doest thou here, Elijah?". Elijah did not give a direct answer to the god's question but evades and equivocates, implying that the work his god had begun centuries earlier had now come to nothing, and that his own work was fruitless.

Sounds like Ricardo in that last ep.....
