Back to me, i guess. Where is everyone? Well let me update you. The boys had a team meeting today. The JV team was invited. there too.
The news from there is that 6 kids were promoted to the varsity. They include my middle son, Peggy's son and Evelyn's son. My son is the quarterback. There are 3 recivers and 2 good pass blockers.
I feel sorry for the JV now but they still have some good players. Another good passer will get his chance but her won't have as much of a supporting cast.
The coach said the additions were being made to the varsity would not change the starting lineup unless one of the new player can beat an incumbent out.
He told the new boys that they were brought up because they obviously could help. He said they will be used in spot situations and give opponents a whole lot more to prepare for.
The boys got to see the tapes of the game. My son said on the late hit called against him, he was pushed into the guy on the play and it was not a serious hit anyway. On his touchdown return of an interception called back, he said someone ran in front of one of our players and acted like he was clipped.
The rumor of moving the JV offense up was around town almost as soon as it happened. There were other rumors. Myra is smoking with Cart and not worried about who sees it is about the only thing anyone in town is talking about beside the football team is Myra becoming Cart's 4th wife and the 4th to start smoking after being with him. Coincidence, I'm sure.
The volleyball team had a meeting too. Their meeting was on breaking training. They went to the football field at and ran wind springs. Shelli, especially, was sucking.
Then there's Amber, my son's gf. She's on the volleyball team Last night, she frustrated him by not smoking while he was trying to get over a bad game.
Right after practice, she lit a Capri 120, my brand. She said she wanted to get through the punishment and then appease him.
