In the quite town of Elizabethville, in the year of our Lord 1772, life seems tranquil and unaltered. The tumultuous events of the outside world pass by, giving way to the important matters at hand: whether the farmer's goat has dropped its kid, who was caught in the meadow last fortnight, and when the new silks will be brought in from England. No one notices or cares about the riots and upheaval in the cities of New York and Philadelphia.

Or so it would seem.

Beneath the quite and simple exterior, something stirs in the minds of Elizabethville�s citizens. They all know, down to the last child, that one day, the revolution will fully reach them. They know they must be ready when that time comes. The beginnings of political separation between families and life-long friends is starting to ebb more and more into everyday lives, straining relationships and causing tiny ripples in the stream of life. Sides must be taken, and soon.
