Jill,
Same here! Orando's are prone to these problems and once they start it doesnt seem like all the peas and brye shrimp in the world help them. One thing i have found is they need a ton of room, great filtration, and always keep their food down in the water by soaking first. Small meals more often and keep amnonia levels at bay. The larger (older) orandos have a really difficult time adjusting to new aquariums so I stick with the babies from now on.
