sorry i can't answer ur q but this may sound stupid as im VERY new to platies, but how do u know that they come out handicapped? i have a cold water tank as i bought them from a cold water tank, i didn't even know u had to test the water for ph and stuff...but mine just had 2 fry and they look just fine. Any info would be greatly appreciated! :)
