Subject: Air, and Aging the Water

Depending on the size of your tank, should you invest in
an extra bubbler? At what size should you be concerned with
ventilation in the water? Just wondered if too much air is
entered into the tank, could it hurt the fish?

I just started out a new tank and am still learning how to
successfully age the water and keep the fish healthy.

Anyone that might have any advice, feel free to respond.

My friend told me that it may be best to get a few guppies
or feeder goldfish to age the water before I start buying
really expensive fish or ones that are hard to maintain. I
only want a small school of tetras and maybe some Bala's -
no fancy ones or anything. Is this good advice?
