Subject: green water

Our tank has been established for 3 years - we use the Eclipse system - 30 gallons. Everything has gone swimmingly until now. We have consistently done a 25-30% water change regularly but just started to use a vacuum about 3-4 months ago. Shortly after the first vacuum we noticed the water becoming very murky and green - algae I will guess is the culprit. About the same time we had a new patio door put in that adds a significant amount of sunshine to the tank. We faithfully change filters and clean filter tube. Not sure where to turn first in determining what's wrong - we have had such great success up til now - any help out there would be appreciated. Thanks, Sarah
