Hi, I have just lost 2 medium sized clown loaches. As they have a habit of staying together when one gets sick you seem to always lose both. Mine had opaque eyes and a white spot on his mouth and the other one got it too. When they died their skin looked fine (no discolouration). I think the only thing you can do is seperate them from the other fish and try stress coat & Myxisun I think it is a really good product, and good luck. They don't appear to be really hardy fish.
Cheers
Dagmar
