Subject: Strange experience..............

Day off today so been house hunting with my friends Mum who has just retired, she's looking for an easy to maintain bungalow preferably on a quiet street but not too far away from bus stops, shops etc and within walking distance of my friends house. Anyway to cut a long story short we set off and saw a couple of nice properties which she's pondering over, however the last one was a different story, I got the most awful feeling of fear and dread as we go out of the car, didn't like the street at all, nothing wrong with it on the surface, very tidy little bungalows along one side and tree lined along the other, expected to see a Stepford wife any moment, was I glad when she announced she didn't like it either, none of us said anything as we drove away but the overwhelming feeling of relief the further away we got was very strong, as we arrived back home I finally loosened my grip on the steering wheel and heaved a sigh of relief.

Go figure........
