Subject: Sweet jeebus, it's too frickin' hot.
Woke up at 7.30 from the bloody heat! Arg. Bit cooler away from the bedroom, but Nature? We're done. Not cool, dude.
Still, could be a good thing. Might hit the shops for when they open (and before they become apocalyptically busy - only downside of living in a lovely seaside resort town is that everyone else on the planet decides it's lovely at the weekend and wants to visit as well.)
Sunday is gardening day. I may have to take frequent cider breaks for the heat. :-)

woke disgustingly early this morning so went to Sainsburys at 7.30am while it was still cool enough, really couldn't have faced it now in this heat I would have ended up running someone over with my shopping trolley
so, nothing special on today except shorts and a bikini top ;-)
which is why I'm sitting here with my Earl Grey and shortbread biscuits on my top floor patio watching our splendid young gardener stripped to the waist trimming the hedges and cutting the grass, is there a better way to spend your time on a hot Saturday morning? I think not
speaking of cider I forgot the cold drinks this morning, doh!!

It was freaking cold last week, hard to believe it was June!
I'm doing my oligatory weekend baking, then maybe finally doing taxes and going for a bike ride with my mom...barbeque in the evening for sure. :)
Going to Danzig next week, hope the weather stays nice!

it's only june. i'm not gonna make it. the sweating it getting out of hand.
off to the pub in 2 hours or so to watch the US game. excited. and yet. it's gonna be a hot mess in there if we lose. the fellas are...passionate about soccer.
other than that...i'm not into work...at all. and i need a break from jude. i'll get it at the end of july...but...i could use a break a little earlier than that. i'm a bit on edge.
