Melanoma tries to attack the best of us. If she had it in her cleveage too, I'm gonna start calling her sister.

Anyhow - I can't believe I forgot to give you the 1 piece of advice all men need to know!

DO NOT (and I'd bet you won't anyway), I repeat DO NOT leave her in that hospital by herself for more than going home to shower. That time - even though you've got this little creature in your arms that you had no idea you were capable of creating and loving so much - can be the absolute most lonliest time in a woman's life. I had to stay an extra day because Nate had an infection, and I was left alone most of that time. I have been lonely in my life, but NEVER have I been that damn lonely. It was terrible! Think of it this way - she is carrying a life with her for 9 months. All the sudden that is seperated from her. It's tough - even with the cute little baby blinking his/her eyes at you.

Gren - no. I'm a big chicken and didn't watch it myself. I just remembered that they offered it (and I thought they must be crazy). In retrospect, it probably would have been helpful to know what was going on down there. I just spent all that time pushing (and nearly hyperventilating - go to lamaz class - I didn't because no one would go with me...and I regretted that).
