Well, I had the combo plate. They cut me because I was tearing, but I also had a 4th degree tear (that's the one that goes all the way up there), so they had to stitch me up good. That kid fileted me like a prime cut of meat! You know, even after having that crazy tear, I don't think anything feels different. My hubby doesn't think so either, unless he's totally lying. I'm not sure if it was because I tore or the good job they did sewing me up, but I was up walking around 6 hours after I had him. It took me about a month before I healed all of the way. You know, whichever way you go, if you deliver vaginally, getting up and walking around as soon as you can will really help, in my opinion. From what I understand, tears like that don't happen very often, so don't worry, Gren. I just had a BIG baby.

Yes you see my sis in law it was her first and she weighted 9 pounds!
I read in an article "don't ask your husband if it's the same down there because he will lie for sure" lol. If he knows whats good for him and if he wants to get some lol. But sometimes we can tell if they are lying sacks or not, plus if he's swimming around in there you can't tell him his cack has shrunk lol!
