this thread has me squirming in my seat......

its been over 10 years but I can honestly say I don't think the pain was a big deal and i had nothing but something to take off the "edge". I can also honestly say I don't remember either after birth because I was too intrigued with the new lives. Although I do remember the doc being mad at me cause I assumed my job was done after my oldest was born.

one piece of advice though, make sure your bladder is EMPTY beforehand, esp if there's no epidural. That catheter going in hurt way more than any of my 3 babies going out.

The catheter with the epidural can also stop the dialating if your bladder gets full and since you can't feel anything you won't know if it's full, unless the nurse checks it.
