Maybe Hunter was a target because he is more high profile or because he's got more "street cred." I don't know. Or maybe it was simply suicide. (And Chrys, you should definitely read some of his stuff. I've only read Fear and Loathing and The Hell's Angels, but both were great).

And I also don't know if 9/11 was planned or allowed to happen or whathaveyou, but I do know that its occurrence brought about a series of events that have given this president unprecedented power and enabled him to garner the public support necessary to start an illegal war with a sovereign nation.

Also, I'm sure many of you heard about this:

Another instance that it seems Bush (and Blair) were willing to let people be killed so they could gain public support to further their agenda, specifically the war in Iraq.
