Subject: Master Cleanse, Day 4....

So, I almost caved yesterday. I thought it was supposed to get easier, hell I remember it getting easier. But yesterday the smell of cashews that a co-worker was eating nearly drove me over the edge. Anyone else ever done the master cleanse? Then, I was subjected to sitting in the cafe at Whole Foods, upstairs (yes, all the wonderful aromas wafting up towards MY nostrils), while my daughter munched on a pizza. Arrgghhhh.

Then when I told him I don't think I can do it, my hubby told me that as incentive, if I can do it for the full 10 days, he will give in and let me get that Yorkie puppy I've been wanting.

We'll see- will the cashews/pizza win out, or will I soon be the owner of a cute little puppy?

I think I'm losing it (my faculties....)

What does this entail? Only juice or something?

10 whole days?

Yup, its a mixture of fresh lemon or lime juice, water, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. It isn't bad at first, but I am really getting sick of it.

I did it about 10 years ago for like 30 days. I felt great- high as a kite. But I sure as hell won't be doing it longer than 10 days (if I can make it that long.) The things I will attempt for a clean GI tract. Sheesh.

Wow, that sounds like it would taste rather funky. How much of it do you have to drink every day?

Yay! I know quite a few people who have rescued yorkies. And, I wouldn't support a dog farm, to be sure. My co-worker has a yorkie and a yorkie-rat terrier mix and his happy couple just had 4 puppies last week. He's trying to place them in good home, so there goes it!

And twan, I just read that you are expecting. A HUGE congrats to you and the wife! Parenthood is the most awesome evolution!

Oh yeah, about 10 X 10 oz glasses a day. Plus, a cup of smooth move tea each night. What a cocktail!

No food only drinks? I wouldn't last a day - I feel faint just thinking about it.
