Subject: Scraps at Midnight

I just got this in the mail today (finally, I've been trying to bid on this fucking thing for so long on ebay... I guess I should have just bought it from somewhere else but hey, what's done is done) and it is amazing. I honestly think it could be my favorite Lanegan album.

On another note, I just got Ballad of the Broken Seas the other day and I'm really digging it. I just like the whole concept. I read an interview with Isobel where she explained that she just had so many things that she wanted to say from a man's perspective so that's where the idea came from. I guess her brother (could have been someone else) introduced her to Mark's music and boom, there you have it. Pretty cool shit if you ask me.
