However, I've decided against the Yorkie. I started doing more research and I think that the yorkshire terrier is a wee bit too dependent for my family. Do you know that they have to be fed 4 meals a day, and need to go out to "do their duty" 2-3 times at night, or else you have to set up an indoor potty area for them? Ick!
So, once we finish this fast, perhaps a trip to the local humane society is in store!

Congrats on making it to day 9. That's pretty amazing!

Let us know what kind of pup you end up adopting. My wife and I went to Petsmart over the weekend and saw two absolutely gorgeous shar-pei mix puppies that were abandonded. I've never seen such beautiful pups in my life. They weren't all wrinkly like shar-peis - they looked kind of like blonde Weimreiners (I positive I'm spelling that wrong, but you guys know what I'm talking about).
