I was wondering if it's always true that boys look like their moms and girls like their dads. Probably worth a new thread. Tell me about you, are you g/b and who do you look like?

I seem to favor my dad's side of the family body-wise, but mom's side facially.
My brother is the opposite.

There's certainly no formula for how you come out!
I'm almost 50% of each of my parents. I have my Mom's body and my Dad's coloring. My much younger brother looks like my Mom's side of the family - has an odd skintone that probably was in her family several generations ago. He is much larger than either side of my family. Nate looks like a combination of me and my mother-in-law. They used to teach us that darker coloring was dominent, but I have light brown hair and blue eyes (my Mom has dark brown both) and Nate has my coloring when his dad has black hair and hazel eyes.
It's funny how we come out. I have a friend who is second generation Mexican (and so is her husband), but her child came out like a blonde curley headed cupid!

My first kid is still inside my wife, so I'm not quite sure what (s)he's going to look like yet.
Hopefully (s)he won't be black or something. The wife will have some 'splainin' to do.

We're definitely going to find out, and I have no preference either way (really, I don't). At the last appt, the doc said it looked like a boy, but she couldn't be sure. My wife is only at 13 weeks, and they usually can't tell for sure until 20 weeks.
And my fertility comment was because it was our first month trying (first month the wife was off birth control).

I'm a 50-percenter, too. Before my mom got sick, I looked just like her, but I definitely have a lot of my dad's features, like my eyes.
I look like either when I stand next either one.

Yes it was! LOL! I've never seen a picture "like they're sitting on a glass table" like that before! Gren definately has a boy! The technology change is just amazing! My 1 ultrasound looked like an evil alien 11 years ago! You guys can almost make out features!

My mom is a redhead and very fair with freckles, my dad has black hair and a dark complection. I look more like him and I have brown eyes.
My kids are 50/50 with brown hair and hazel eyes, and they all look the same. I have a hardtime telling them apart in the baby photos they all are so similar.
My husband and I both have wavy hair, but my daughter has perfectly straight hair. (you can't even curl it) I guess she gets that from her paternal grandfathers side
** They have 3D ultrasounds now, that are completely amazing!

Oh, and one time my Mom was shopping and this lady started talking to her. When she said I was her daughter, this lady got hysterical. She demanded that I could not be my Mom's daughter. I was a toehead back then and my hair was very curly and I've always had searchlight souls. My Mom had spent years ironing her once curly dark hair. Anyhow, this lady was crazy - demanding that my Mom was lying. My Mom was a young Mother and was petrified. She just dropped her shopping, grabbed me and left the store. I don't know if that lady thought my Mom kidnapped me or what. People are scary!

Actually I really want the baby to look like daddy. I've been reading websites to see if they make mistakes sometimes, now Jes is saying yep it's a boy! Well we love him just as much, we wanted a girl but it's definitely not that important.

One of my wife's co-workers said she was told three times during ultrasounds that her child was going to be a boy, but a girl came out of her belly instead.
I said she must have had giant labia.
Was that wrong?

Yes Taurus, once upon a time I knew how to post pictures, I used to have a "CC pic of the day" post, so much ohing and ahing lol. It was great.
I have amazing ultrasound pics, one in particular with baby seen from the bottom like he's sitting on a glass table and you're looking under. You can see 2 little legs spread eagle and an etra little leg in the middle lol.

My son is 9 and I went to wake him up for school the otherday and he told me he was pitching a tent. They are quite aware of there privates. He also aked me what happens to him when his voice changes? I think they learn things talking to older kids at school.
My daughter is just dying to lose her teeth, she also occasionally likes to walk around with oranges in her shirt for boobs.
I remember doing that too, but it scares me now. LOL

My son hasn't started any changes yet except that he's a hussy magnet. One more little girl comes to my house wearing a mini-skirt - I'm going to walk her ho butt home and beat up her Mom! After doing a guitar solo in school one time, a little girl told him she'd be his slave. I think girls must start first. I grew boobs at 11, so I never stuffed anything. I did play doctor an awful lot though.

Me too, I grew boobs at 11 or 12. The thing is everyone accused me of stuffing my bra because of it and I had to show the girls in gym class that I really did have boobs. Bad memory.
During the summer holidays, my son was sneaking out of his room in the middle of the night to watch tv. We caught him watching "Girls Gone Wild". Luckily it was the censored version.
