light - Sorry I missed it before. Talked to Ian a few weeks back. Cardia's not over. They actually have a new record in the bag, but are having a hard time finding distribution. The record industry is getting really unstable...especially when a guy from Rival Schools can't get distro for his album. I've heard some of the new songs, and IMO, they are incredible. One of my dream gig's would be to be in a band with Ian. I think that our styles would work brilliantly off of eachother, and he's one of the few vocalists left out there that I have total respect for.

Chico, Light & Shade is sold out. The Tattwas is still available though. In fact I am probably going to drop the price on them at CD Baby. I still have about 1000 of them sitting in my garage, and they have to go. I'll be dropping it to $5 on CD baby. That's the lowest that they will let me go. CD Baby might actually have a few copies of Light & shade too. I'll have to check.

Twan, no offense taken bro :). Your feedback is valuable to me, and I will certainly do my best to keep things as melodic and interesting as possible. There will be a lot of new sounds incorporated into the materail which were not part of the Slowloader stuff. For starters, I'm playing a lot more piano/rhodes/wurly than I ever did on the slowloader stuff. I'm also programming beats to lend the urban/electronica/trip-hop vibe to the music. Most people here don't know that I used to spin before I ever picked up a guitar. In a sense I'm getting back to my roots by incorporating some of that vibe into the new material.

Ronnie will get involved at some point, but for now, everything that makes it to the myspace page will be 100% me. That will also be a bit of a departure since Slowloader was always a compromise between the visions of 4 different people. I still trust Ronnie's instincts, and know for a fact that he's in some very interesting headspaces these days. His playing is better than ever.
