Subject: Leatherwood Honey

I've been living in this country for 8 years, why the hell didn't anyone tell me about this little bit of heaven in a jar? Why did I have to find it in a tourist guidebook?

Apparently, European bees were brought down under, and took a liking to Eucalypt pollen. The honey they produce has a smoother, richer texture than your ordinary variety, and refreshing kick of eucalyptus at the back.

I'm putting in my tea, I'm putting it in my fruit salad, hell I'm just putting it straight in my mouth in a teaspoon.

I might try it in my espresso next.

Mmmmm. Honey. I hadn't heard about that - I'll have to see if I can find some. We have a local store that all the local chefs use that has a full isle of just types of honey. Raspberry honey is really good too (in tea!).

Betcha that'd make a really good honey mustard sauce, too.

I thought you were going to tell us about some new Aussie band named "Leatherwood Honey", and I was going to tell you how stupid the name "Leatherwood Honey" is for a band.

So just pretend that happened and that my insult was both witty and sarcastic, yet lighthearted.
