Subject: More American Idol ?s
This is the first actual season of American Idol I've really watched. I have 2 questions:
Anyone see Chris Daughtry do Walk the Line last night? I voted for his creativity in just changing that song to make it match his style. I think Johnny Cash would have applauded - since he did that so often himself.
AND...what is Paula Abdul on? She's so pretty and sweet, but last night was not the first night she was slurring, her eyes were droopy (one was even covered with hair) and some of the things she was saying just didn't make any sense. I don't have anyone taking care of me, so I don't get to take shiznits like that, but man - what is that?

Paulas on drugs, she's on some kind of medication. She's also desperate for a man, she was on Dr.Phil telling him all about it. She says she doesn't have a hard time attracting a man and getting one, but when they find out she has needs they leave her. Needs=Needy IMO!
I haven't been watching AI, I wanted to try and watch The Real Housewives of Orange County last night, but forgot.
I'm going to watch Black and White tonight for sure.

My favourite show right now is Project Runway, but the press went and ruined the ending for me by announcing the winner.
I'm into Deal Or No Deal too. Howie Mandel is the host and he doesn't shake anyones hand, because he's a germophobe; so he knocks fists instead. Anyway, the game show is pretty good, but man some people don't know when to stop and end up losing big time.
Then there is Survivor, I have been watching it from the start.

LOL! She's adorably clumsey. Last night, she was jumping up and down and you could hear it in her microphone - she broke it with her boobs. She's not sexy. She got down on her knees when singing last week and Simon called her a sexy little minx. Well, she said "What's a minx?" and he tried to describe it to her. So when she's standing there waiting for voting, she shouts out that she's the LINK. LOL! She's likeable, but certainly not the best voice there.
I'd name the top 3 as:
Chris Daughtry (sp?)
Paris (I totally love her!)
and the 3rd is questionable - but I don't think it's Kelly. My vote would go to either the guy with the sticky out ears and smokers teeth or the dark haired girl who sucked before but just nailed it the past two weeks).
Ace is lucky he's attractive. So are Bucky and Kelly. Mandisa has the most spectacular fabulous voice, but she's so heavy I think it will stop her (though I'd swear she's dropped 40 lbs. since the show started). Chicken Little should be in theatre. Anyone I've forgotten, well, I've forgotten.

Oh - the guy with the grey hair. He has a unique voice but it has no range at all. He has a fanbase thoug - so he'll make it pretty far.

She does have the biggest butt that I have ever seen, but that's not reason to vote her off because she is talented.Has anyone ever heard of Aretha Franklin?? I think she's comparable to her.
I saw the guy with the grey hairs performance last night and Simon said it was a mess, and I totally agreed. The big meanie does know what he's talking about.
I love Paris too. Chicken Little is out on dvd now.

As far as talent is concerned, I truley believe Mandisa has the absolute best voice over all the contestants. Such range and depth. BUT, this is American Idol. That's a "whole package." They did put Ruben pretty far in that one season, BUT he was a man. I don't think the world is forgiving of weight for woman.

'American Idol' Producers Nearly Fired Abdul
American Idol producers came close to firing judge Paula Abdul earlier this month - and wanted to offer her job to Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson. Tensions on the set of the hit TV show were running high and producers were considering firing the former singer for her erratic behavior. A source tells American magazine Us Weekly, "Paula was being very difficult. (She was) crying all the time and arriving late for meetings." The stress from the situation drove Abdul seek medical attention and she was treated for "exhaustion and dehydration." According to the source, executives from the show discussed replacing the troubled judge: "(They) liked Jessica (Simpson) a lot. And some were pushing for Britney (Spears)." Neither star ended up meeting with Idol producers and they decided to keep Abdul - for now. Abdul's representative denies the allegations: "Paula is always a joy on the set and everyone loves her. If they were looking at Britney or Jessica, that's news to me."
