Officer catches woman using fake baby to drive in high occupancy lane
TORONTO (CP) - A sharp-eyed Ontario Provincial Police officer is being credited with catching a motorist using a fake child to travel in a lane reserved for vehicles carrying two or more people.
The officer, patrolling Highway 404 in the city's north end on Wednesday, caught a glimpse of the bogus tot when a car travelling in the high occupancy vehicle lane slowly passed his cruiser. What appeared to be a baby dressed in a hooded winter jacket was strapped in a child seat in the back of the car.
The hood covered the child's face, but the officer noticed the arms were out stretched with no hands showing.
The driver was stopped and the officer found he was almost fooled by a stuffed jacket.
A 39-year-old woman from Aurora, Ont., is charged with improper use of high-occupancy vehicle lane and faces a $110 fine.
She told the officer that the fake baby trick normally worked, police said.

Lump, if those don't work for your carpool needs, I know of a facility that will dispose of them safely and confidentially. Just send 'em to me, and I'll drop them off for you.

Yes, that's right. My boyfriend says "Oh!" alot and wears bright red lipstick like Boy George.
23, you could dispose of those at that place over the fence, right. Just gotta help them over.
No - honestly - I don't think we have any highways with occupancy lanes. I understand through lanes on major highways when moving through a city. But why would a lane for cars with more than 1 person make a difference on the highway?

O sorry lump. I thought he had a moustache.

They added a fourth lane for emergencies. I really don't know why she got a ticket, because you are allowed to use the lane, I guess it was the fake doll.

What the heck is that? A Ken doll? Where's his part? Or do you have to buy that seperately?
Toys are cold and lonely. But that doll with duck bill hands and no real hair...hey he's hot! LOL.

GROSS!!!!!!
I have a story.
This policeman was telling me Mom about it. They got a domestic call down to the projects by my house. Now they hate domestics calls - especially down there. Anyhow, there are a bunch of Mexican landscapers that live down there. They were fist fighting. Apparantly....
They all went in on a blow up doll, but the first guy poked a hole in her and the rest of the guys were pissed off! And they were physically fighting.
I won't even go to how gross it is that they were going to share.....

I used to work at "Lovecraft" it's a sex shop (it was the best job, cause I worked with all my friends) anyway, we DON'T take back blowup dolls for obvious reasons. This one man was such a pain about it that the owner finally agreed to an exchange. He didn't like her mouth!!!?? IT"S A BLOWUP DOLL!
Anyway the place wasn't sleazy, it was the first one in Toronto (1968) and it was in a highend neighborhood. It was great working there when I did because my friends worked with me. I had so much fun there.
