If you like the taste so be it. I wasn't trying to offend you, I thought part of not eating dead animals was also the taste/flavour.

Not offended, I just don't understand that logic.

Some people don't like the taste and a lot of vegan stuff tastes like omni food but not necessarily exactly like meat. It's easier to make food and increases variety.

Some people completely avoid meat alternatives and yay for them. It can be quite expensive.

The point of veganism, at least to the group of people I know/hang out with - is to lessen animal consumption as much as possible. No one can be the perfect vegan.
