I will have my guards check around, quietly, unobtrusively to see what can be be found about this...Halloween. Not to worry...we will get to the bottom of this, and perhaps even locate info re that renegade double agent Sgt Time in the process. An engraved article awaits him, perhaps more. I am presently inclined to add the letter e to the other engraved shovel nearby.

Yes Halloween, that fun holiday that originated on Earth. I wonder if anyone is going as the Clay People this year?

FYI, elections on Mongo are held primarily for some positions in the palace, eg..the announcer near throne (who strikes gong), sacred tigron trainer and keeper, oil and grease mechanic for armored suits, such as those worn by yours truly, dungeon supervisor, and a few others. Very few Mongonians cast votes, except for friends and relatives of those nominated.

Halloween (on earth), renamed Mingoween on Mongo, and starting to become popular on Mars...yep, Marween. Rumor has it that several characters having a Gumby like appearance may attend. They will be in costume, as perhaps Gumby's relatives, will wear eyemasks, and may be looking to start trouble. An alert has been ordered by Emperor Ming to be on guard for any hitchhikers from Mars.
