Well, I find rank has its privileges, and knowing when and how to bribe The High Priest after a few Mingweisers at the local watering hole can reveal much. Sometimes, as much as 90% of his ramblings can be verified, or useful, and some not.

As for "Tarnak"...it came out once that he is a time and space traveler, of the troublemaking variety. Some examples: He was an earthling several times in the past, as The Black Hawk, an evil one in The Airmail Mystery serial of 1932, also as Argo..Queen Tika's rebelious prime minister deep below the earth in The Phantom Empire serial of 1935, and later in the future (in Buck Rogers) as Killer Kane's patrol squadron member Patten.

There were several others. But, he was also on Mars...and questions still arise in my mind concerning his true planetary background. Strangely, he did not seem 100% Martian, or some Mongonian transplant. Hmm... I'll take The High Priest out for his favorite potent beverages and probe for more info on Tarnak. Oh, he's known as Kanrat to the Rock People on Mongo.
