Mongo News: Attempt to kill High Priest

As noted, the High Priest and Officer Torch had to meet to discuss some matters outside the palace. A guard took the liberty to strike the Sacred Gong in the Tunnel of Terror. When he did, it exploded and the soldier was killed instantly. Ming's officers fled to the scene and after careful examination, they could tell a plastic explosive was affixed to the back of the gong. Now, they are combing the palace and ground and checking all gongs to look for any explosives, as if it happens again and many palace residents would be innocently killed. No official word on the culprit, but it is most likely the treacherous Sgt. Time. Ming has ordered the death penalty.

Apparently, while the aforementioned was taking place, I had a few rounds at the local Mingweiser with The High Priest. He downed some strong brews; mine were mild. He babbled, droned on and on...and it was, and still is tough to separate fact from fiction. His ramblings may be based on legends, knowledge handed down, or simply giberish from a man who just had too much to drink.

I was told of a relationship that possibly exists between the Muranians (underground decendants of Lemuria), Lord Argo, onetime chancellor to Queen Tika, and his rebellious ways with the "death ray" machine,...then, Tarnak on Mars,(who would be called kan RAT) by the Rock People on Mongo, the lost tribes of the Gobi desert also are in this somehow,....and the typo graphical Sgt. Time. It seems these are connected somehow, but the priest fell asleep at the bar (actually into his goblet!) from hyperbabling; so, I was unable to fit the pieces together. By the time he came around, little more was said...especially when the news breaking story above was announced.

We will try again, but should someone, anyone have some clues or ideas, theories, kindly post them here so we may be enlightened. I could speculate...eg, that Argo wound up time traveling (from the effects of the ray), might have gone back and forward in time, back to Gobi tribe's time, ahead to Killer Kane's (as Patten), into a space ship or device to reach Mongo, or Mars..to be known by Ming and Queen Azura, as Tarnak (but the Rock People had their legends)...and, somehow, a typographical error and makeover enabled him to function as both Tarnak, and....a Sgt.Time. (The word "time" is used often. Bizarre? maybe. Baloney? perhaps. Further speculation may help, or not.
