Ok, I'm interested but have suggestions to prevent post/s being overwhelmingly long (since there are many moments in these 4 serials), or posts could wind up being shortened into something too general to grab interest.

Split serials up some way, and change from "greatest" to favorite moments. (Some may overlap, or not.) Maybe keep things light, not too detailed or technical. Some chronological order might be nice, but not written in stone (except by Rock Men) Heh. If possible, rely on memory. Paraphrase quotes and use tasteful humor to make it fun, but minimize made up stuff (initially anyway), though our usual customer clever remarks ok. (Likely, I'll be first to break own suggestions.) Perhaps simple quiz questions can be added at times. We'll be flexible.

Hopiing for some feedback from say 2 members before starting. Yes, no, suggestions? We can have:
a)Fav. moments of FG '36
b)Fav. moments of FG '38 (Mars)
c)Fav. moments of FG '40 (CTU)
d)Fav. moments of BR '39

Maybe a couple examples, more or less: (you'll note I tend to be biased more towards the quiz and humor aspect)but you express as you see fit.
In FG 36, what's your favorite moment with the High Priest. For me, it's when Ming tells his guard to lock up this babbling idiot when the priest tells Ming that he has offended Tao.

What's kind of humorous in same serial. I'd say Vultan doing his shadow puppet demonstration to Dale.

In FG 40, do you think one so called disguise is exceptionally dopey? To me, its when Capt.Torch goes into Barin's radio room disguised as one of the palace guards.

In BR, do the Zuggs have any knowledge of English? Yes, they must since they understand commands and a guard speaks to Prince Talon while he's in a jail cell.

I like the idea of splitting it up, as Officer Torch suggests, starting with Flash Gordon 36. Heck, you can even have favorite moments from individual chapters. For instance:

Flash Gordon 1936
Chapter One
Planet of Peril

"We are doomed, Professor Gordon." The iconic line that launched the Flash Gordon serials.

The first appearance of Flash Gordon and Dale Arden in serial form, seen aboard the Trans-Continental Plane. Flash even gave up his polo game!

Flash and Dale bail out. "Scared, huh?"

Our first look at an armed Dr Zarkov and his rocketship.

"Hey, nice boat you have here, Doc"

"I've experimented with models."

Landing on Mongo, only to be greeted by giant lizards.

Ming's rocketship arrives, and we meet Officer Torch!

The three Earth prisoners are brought before Emperor Ming. Was there any resistance? Only from the blonde giant!

"Why destroy the Earth? Why not conquer it?" Great thinking, Zarkov.

Ming shows great interest in Dale Arden. He has never seen one like her before.

Flash in the Arena battling the three Man Killers.
