Oops! My mistake re '36 "Finale"...I transposed from wrong line while typing. Did it thrice! Oh well, enough for excuses. Thanks for correcting. Yes, that was from Werewolf of London, a nice piece of work by Hajos. Frankly, not much FG music I dislike. Just about all were well selected, melodic, exciting/robust, haunting, well synched to visuals, nicely blended in general...quite a masterful ensemble overall.

Though not involved in FG music, it saddens me that John Barry, the famous modern composer is no long with us. He worked on many fine movie scores, with haunting melodies and also did many 007 Bond film scores. I had hoped perhaps, just perhaps he might have been maestro for any new FG movie.

FYI, in the 50s, early 60s, I enjoyed scores from epic wide screen spectaculars, eg The Robe, Ten Commandments, Ben Hur, The Egyptian, etc, also Richard Rodgers for TVs Victory At Sea. Add to this the music of Albert W. Ketelbey (In a Monastery Garden, In a Persian Market eg)and a gem, long out of print... "Conquerors of the Ages" by Edmund DeLuca. Sure, I liked doo wop, rock, C & W, pop,
but always had a special feeling for certain classics and movie music. Any comments or similar interests in music out there from our members, fans, readers?
