Sorry Rick...no comments...do not have movie version of Mars.
I usually ranked it third among the serials over the years, primarily because of what I considered the "fluff" and just too much time in the Forest Kingdom. While it's story was coherent, and the musical score, seemingly mostly from Bride of Frankenstein were great, and so were the inventions and spooky Clay people, it just dragged somewhat. I remember as a kid making it a point to quit playing stickball if I knew FG was on, '36, or '40, but our guys often opted to continue to try for 2 sewers if Mars was running. Seems this continued in modified format through the decades.

Hey! If you've got the single movie version, tell me/us. I'd be curious if they butchered or took out the fluff or what. Thanks.

Torch,

My copy was shipped from TCM/Movies Unlimited yesterday. It was backordered since Feb 20th. When I get it, I'll give you some product details and screen it this spring.

Rick
