A subjective issue, cheat endings...some are indeed, some just stretch things too far, and then there are those gray areas. In any case, here are some..there are likely more. The trilogy has many. Kindly add if you like.

1936 Mongo...think this serial is low on cheats. Only one comes to mind for now...at end Chap 12 begin 13. Flash and group are attacked by a bomber and luckily find trap door in turret house. We're led to believe they, or Flash, perish..but in Chap 13, they all make it. Perhaps cheat count was low since this was first FG serial. Dunno.

1938 FGTTM..more in this serial. End Chap 4 begin 5, FG aims stratosled he's piloting to crash into Death Squadron ship trying to bomb Dale and Happy chained at clay cave entrance. FG unable to open door to bail out...it's jammed. We later see him shoot door, it opens, he leaps out second before collision. Cheat? Maybe, or just stretching things too far.

End Chap 5..this is moreso of a notation...you'll see paralyzer gun right side up in one scene, and upside down in another.

End 7 begin 8..FG smoking?? (Not a cigarette, but his body from magnifier weapon in Forest Kingdom.) Dale alone gets a stratosled, pilots it effortlessly it seems and scores a hit on offending magnifier. FG stops smoldering, Dale lands ship and things move on. Cheat? Dunno, but tough to accept.

End Chap 14..not actually cheat, but hard to accept...with all good guys around, how Zandar manages to pass Ming a raygun. (Ming then pulls FG behind door in back of throne. A scuffle occurs, FG is left fighting with Zandar, and Tarnak leads Ming out.)

1940 FGCTU..several here or tough to accept..End Chap 1, at a brawl by death dust chamber (now broken), FG and some fall into a deep pit. Seems FG saves himself by grabbing onto some kind of bar in the opening to the pit.

Chap 3 An observation re rescue of FG and friends from deep crevice in Frigia. Dozens of rescuers (march of torches, stock footage from White Hell of Pitz Palu); all these guys were crammed into a spaceship or two??

End 3, start 4...Annihilaton robot explodes practically on FG. Apparently FG comes thru ok. (Who says this guy ain't some kind of super hero.)

End 5 begin 6...FG and friends hit by friendly fire, Barin's ship, but give Morse code blasts which Barin understands, then rescues them by temporarily magnetically coupling his ship and the one blazing. All are saved.

End 6, begin 7 In spite of near hit from horrendous projectile weapon from Ming which is loaded with deadly "Zotranilium", FG in his fire retardant suit survives falling into a fiery pit, and continues his mission. Kinda pushing things.

End 7 begin 8..the Rock people, implied to be not bright, revive Flash and friends from an explosion using some kind of rocks they throw towards our friends. It emits a gas and they revive. (Seems these people are also smart enough to disguise themselves from huge lizards that roam about by...well, putting their heads together, to make what looks like a rock formation.)with their helmets.

Chap 11 end...FG is not electrocuted upon stepping on Ming's electrified rug in Dale and Aura's quarters...he is only stunned it seems.

Oh, the best real cheat is in 1939 Buck Rogers, in Killer Kane's palace...in one chapter, Buddy is shot, falls seemingly dead...in next, he just jumps out of window.
