I'll vote for the "Melon Patch" and maybe include the orange grove as an addition. (Wise guy) Frankly, this is the kind of humor which makes this material fun as well as interesting.

I'll comment on a few..but will leave more for Barin; Mars is his favorite. Allow me to mention FG '36 and 40 often around at various price points and at budget outlets sometimes (with Buster Crabbe but you'll also see Steve Holland episodes from Fifties TV show which didn't fare well. Too far removed..was more like Capt. Video.) I digress...Mars '38 harder to find and tough in the UK. Dunno why. But, '38 Mars serial dvds easily obtained in US, in 3pk trilogy by Image frequently below $20 new of good quality on line. Shop around.

For favorites, gotta say Nitron Lamp..it's pretty much essence of serial. Other favorites or interesting parts..Clay Caves where claymen appear/blend into walls....spooky-ish; nicely done for it's time. Also enjoy subway leading to Azura's palace. Often wonder why/if Azura's soldiers or Ming's minions were really unaware of this?

The Powerhouse also of interest and anything involving Tesla like sparking machinery to me. The Airdrome Platform...we see stratosleds land mostly on smooth tarmac at distant locations, (but crew emerge just feet away from a building doorway). Light bridge is great, but careful! No handrail. Didn't care though for "oscillator" shutoff special effects. I had an Erector set as a kid and recognized some parts. Also, a bit padded in the bented twig Forest Kingdom. Let's not forget Azura's throne room, including visitors such as...what where they Barin? Cabbage patch people? Cabbage head aliens or something like that? Heh, heh.
