The image of Flash being tortured in the Static Room, even today, is very powerful. The sparks emanating from the device truly seem to be causing our Flash to writhe in pain.

The Atom Furnace, too, being stoked by us, the captive slaves, is memorable for its horror and intensity. Even here, however, Flash makes the men restive for freedom as the overseer mentions to his colleague.

All of Vultan's devices were wonderfully inspired and well-depicted making the serial extremely intense as well as fast paced.
