(Ordinarily he would have protested when she tried to take Chase from him while the boy was sleeping, he knew he hated being roused from sleep, so why would the boy like it.. besides, he was damn cute all tucked up in sleep and drooling on himself. But since his mind was completely locked on what his friend was telling him, he didn't stop her and in fact shifted so that she could get better access to the baby. It took a full minute for his expression to reveal anything that was going on on the other end, because he was so damned relieved that Skeeter had called with good news.. he finally closed his eyes and sighed, peace taking over his features.) Thank you for calling me, Skeeter.. tell her I love her, will you? (He said, feeling like a part of his heart had come back to life again as he opened his eyes to Shay. He had known deep down that Haylie hadn't died.. not when he was still breathing himself.. Life couldn't be so cruel as to leave him alive while she was dead.)
