When she mentioned going with skeeter instead of him, he growled under his breath.) I'll be with you. If you go. (He growled, his Aussie accent peeking out strongly with his annoyance. He wasn't letting her out of his sight without a fight, and definitely not without him being there to oversee everything. No way was Skeeter going on a date with her, even if it was covert. As usual, her hand brusing through his hair was like a soothing salve to him, and he finally looked at her without annoyance as she took Chase from him.. he was being pretty childish about the whole thing.) If I can be assured there is no chance for danger.. none at all.. then I will allow it.. but I will be there the whole time.
