(He frowned as she spoke, knowing there was no way in the world he would miss being here for her going through labor.. even if he had to go rogue and leave his job right in the middle of a shootout.) If I am not back before you go into labor, I want you to call Skeeter and he will do his damndest to find me no matter what, okay? (He said and he meant it, there were some things in life that he would bite the bullet on.. but missing the birth of his child was not one of them.. that only happened once in that child's life.. and he would be there.) Stop now, Shay.. you're going to get yourself worked up again.. I will be fine.. you'll be fine.. and when I get back we'll have a child, okay? (He pressed his forehead to hers and had to suck in a breath when his chest tightened and tears pricked his eyes.) God, you're killing me, Shay.. I am going to miss you so much.. (He murmured as he fought the tears, framing her face with his hands and just taking her in while he had her in his arms.)

She could hear Kyrian moving around in the other room and knew that she would need to say goodbye to him too, she was pissed at him, yeah but he was still like a brother to her and she wouldn't let him go off without letting him know that she loved him and would miss him. She let out a soft breath, her eyes closing for a long moment before she let out a slow breath. "When do you have to leave?"
