(Back when they had first been working the case with Shay and the shooter, he had been irked by her icey exterior and it had intrigued him into wanting to know more about her.. and when they had been intimate together at that hotel it had been her fire and intensity that had lured him back to her.. and he saw those things in her at that moment. It was a blow to his pride to realize that he had been afraid to ask her out for fear of rejection.. for the simple reason that if she turned him down than it would all be over and he would have no one. It was so much easier to play his little mindgames and pray she would come to 'his' senses and come back to him. Between her pointed questions he tried to answer, sputtering back at her and gaining a more and more defensive expression until, with those final three words, he realized that was all he had to do.. 'do something about it'. And with that thought, he brought his hands up to frame her face and kissed her so thoroughly that when he pulled back he was breathless.) Fine. (He said after a few moments, before resting his forehead against hers lightly, his breath coming in short and a bit of a playful smile creeping across his handsome face.. the thrill of the hunt was seeping into him and with that kiss he had declared war.) We'll do it your way Haylie Lampbert.. but there will be no one else.. (He put his hands on his knees then and sat back up, his eyes sparking playfully as he smiled at her in a self-satisfied manner.)

        I am honestly surprised you even looked in that fridge. (He said with a smirk when she sat down in front of him, arching a brow as he looked her over.) We never have food and you know that. (He leaned back on his hands on the coffee table and smiling in a thoughtful manner. He was already planning out their first date in his head, and it wasnt seeming as bad as he first thought it might.) Yeah, I was thinking I might have to call wong's later myself.. although since Shay's been on the healthy baby kick she's been pestering Remy and me to get off the greasy food.. (He shrugged.)
