(There was a good reason why he'd been smiling when he'd parked the truck, his sweet wife had been quite alluring earlier in the day and he'd recalled a lot of particularly interesting memories of their day. He leaned back on the mirrored wall of the elevator and looked over at her as he tapped the button for the eighteenth floor with his elbow.) About two years now. The agency acquired it when they did a big drug bust.. I called in some favors and picked it up for next to nothing. (He said smugly, tipping his head a little as the elevator creaked a bit, a habit he'd picked up when he'd accidently told Kyrian that elevators sort of wierded him out and his partner had decided it would be funny to jump whenever the elevator creaked.. he knew now each point on the trip up when the sound would occur and tensed a bit each time.) You're going to love Kyrian's bedroom.. he refused to redecorate it. (When the doors opened into a wide foyer with double oak doors, he led the way out and set a handful of bags down to reach into his pocket for his key, letting them into the spacious two floor apartment.)
