(He said in a dejected tone, having not realized that by not being transferred they would see each other once in a blue moon.. and that just wouldn't work for him or for her.. it would mean the end of a relationship and he couldn't think about not having her beside him when he slept.) I didn't mean it like that.. I was just - hell.. (He tipped his head up to the spray, having gotten a bit of soap in his eyes while he was distracted.) We'll just have to pull some strings, maybe Skeeter can call in a few favors and get things moved around. (He said in a tone that was a bit firmer than he had intended. Rubbing his eyes, he turned to look at her and realized she was in the shower too, and smiled.) Hey there. (He murmured, looking all the part of a player as his eyes wandered over her appreciatively.) Look.. (He said after a second, forcing his thoughts back to the conversation instead of on her soapy body.) I don't want to even consider that being an option.. we just have to force the issue and play our cards right.. I'll just threaten to quit unless you get the transfer. (He said and was dead serious.. he would pull those kinds of strings.. the agency owed him for what had happened to him because of someone they had hired.)

  • She smiled lightly as she listened to the extent that he would go for her. It touched her deeply and it showed in her eyes for a moment before she stepped up to shift behind him, her soapy skin sliding against his easily. "You missed a spot." She murmured, running her hand over his shoulder before she picked up the rag and ran it over his shoulder, pressing a soft kiss there before she rested her forehead against him and wrapped her arms around him from behind. She just stayed there for a long moment, holding him and pressing her chest to her back as she closed her eyes and just reveled in the love she had for him. After a few moments, her hand dropped down from where it rested on his abdomen to run down just a little bit lower, wrapping her hand gently around him and just pleasuring him quietly as the hot water ran down around them.
